GLBAL media produces a 15 minute time synched stage presentation for World Vision to be used on Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour.

What goes in to producing a 15 minute video?
In this case it required 5 days of filming with a 3 person crew in Ethiopia, over 200 hours of editing, 9 screens to format, in-person rehearsals and intentionality in every image, note and word used.

Filming in Ethiopia
In May of 2025, our team traveled to Ethiopia to document the community development work World Vision was doing as a result of child sponsorship. This trip included 2 videographers, 1 photo journalist, 1 U.S. staff member, 1 appeal giver, as well as local staff and translators. We were blown away by the stories of hope from some of the hardest places in the world.

Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour
The video we were producing would be used as part of a live stage presentation and shown on U.S. music tours including Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour and has potential to be seen by over 1 million people (no pressure). Following the video and live presentation concert goers would be asked to respond by sponsoring a child. As a storyteller the challenge after these trips is combing through over 2tb of footage to decide what to share with a live audience.

Production Process
Following the trip we worked with Jeremy Willet (appeal giver) to craft the storyline and get to work on the edit. Over 200 hours were spent editing video, syncing music, color correcting, mixing audio and formatting the content for 9 simultaneous screens. Oh and did we mention that every second of the video is time synched to what Jeremy is saying live on stage?

Tour Rehearsal
After the first couple of drafts we then traveled to tour rehearsal to make sure everything transitioned well to a live setting. This experience was crucial in finalizing placement for captions, alpha layers for IMAG and coordinating lighting cues. Following rehearsal we made the final edits, packaged the project on an external hard drive to travel on the tour for last minute changes and sent everything off to the tour production team.

Dedication to quality
A presentation of this scale relies on intentionality in every detail. The music that’s chosen, the images used, the fonts and color treatment… all of it plays a role in delivering a successful story. This is about more than entertaining people, the lives of thousands of children rely on the success of this presentation. We hope you can make it out to one of Brandon’s shows to see it live, check tour dates here: https://brandonlake.co/.
