Special update about the future of GLBAL media:
In 2006, I designed my first logo for a rock band that I started with my 2 brothers. This simple design opened doors to freelance work with other bands and nonprofits and ultimately led to a full-time freelance career.
Later that year, we traveled to Ethiopia to visit a community of children affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis. This trip changed our lives, and at that time, we dedicated our skills and resources to helping nonprofits tell their story and increase their impact.
In 2020, I transitioned away from freelance work and rebranded as GLBAL media in an effort to better serve our clients and build out a team of creatives.
During this time, we were a full-service agency that provided website design, graphic design, social media management, SEO, photography, and video production. Over the years, we’ve closely monitored these services and made tweaks along the way, eliminating or changing how we deliver results for our clients.
As we celebrate our 5th anniversary as GLBAL media, we’re ready to make our next big move. We’re excited to share that moving forward, we will be working exclusively with nonprofits and social impact companies to provide video production that helps tell their story, inspires viewers, and increases donations.
We’ve recognized that most video production companies claim they can produce videos for nonprofits, but do they really understand the intricacies of donor psychology and retention? Since 2007, we’ve been studying how storytelling can impact viewers and inspire them to get involved. We’ve developed a unique story-first strategy for nonprofits that have produced amazing results such as 100,000+ monthly donors, $200 million+ raised in donations, and over 500,000 online views.
For any of our existing and previous clients, we want to say “thank you”. Thank you for trusting us with your brand identity, video projects, and websites. We will continue to provide ongoing support for all of our existing clients and look forward to further championing the work of nonprofits through video.
